Parking & Getting Around Savannah
Everything you need to park once, walk everywhere, and move through the Historic District like a local — every garage, every shuttle, every phone number.
The Golden Rule: Park Once, Walk Everywhere
Park in a garage as soon as you arrive and leave your car there for your entire stay. The Historic District is compact, flat, and made for walking — moving your car between attractions will only cause frustration.
All five city-owned garages accept the Visitor Day Pass. Tap a button below for turn-by-turn GPS directions on your phone.

Get the Visitor Day Pass
The best value for multi-day visits: $15 for 24 hours, $24 for 48 hours — unlimited parking in every city garage above plus most metered spaces. Not valid in private lots.
Booted or Towed?
Do not remove a boot yourself. Call Parking Services at (912) 651-6470 during business hours or (912) 651-6477 after 5pm. If your vehicle was towed, use the same numbers or call Savannah-Chatham Police at (912) 651-6476.
The best piece of advice we can give you: leave the car parked and walk. The Historic District is compact, flat, and endlessly rewarding on foot. When your feet need a rest, you have excellent options.

Pro Tip
One-Way Streets
Most streets in the Historic District are one-way. The grid is logical once you learn it, but use GPS and watch the direction arrows until you do.
