Destination Ghost Tours was established in 2010 in Savannah, Georgia — a city where the dark history isn't a marketing angle, it's the historical record. From the beginning, our idea was simple: ghost tours are better when they're true. Our guides aren't actors reciting scripts; they're historians, researchers, and paranormal investigators who dig into archives, newspapers, and primary sources to find the documented history behind every haunting.

That approach earned us a following — and eventually a second home in St. Augustine, Florida, the Nation's Oldest City, where four and a half centuries of history gave us more stories than a lifetime of tours could tell. Today, more than 600,000 guests have walked the moonlit squares and colonial lanes with us.

The DGT Tour Companion is the next chapter of that story. We built it because we kept wishing we could give our guests more — more photographs, more documents, more of the research that doesn't fit into a stop on the street. Now every guest carries it all in their pocket.
